Sees

This past summer I went to see Denver native Jordan Casteel's work at the Denver Art Musuem and I was blown away. Her images of Black men, women, and children are so tender, reverant, and captivating, I was thrilled to see her work spotlighted at Staford at the Cantor Musuem and now an image of hers is hanging on the High Line in New York City.

"I needed to find a way to combine my desire to create a sense of visibility around my family and my brothers that was feeling absent at that time." Jordan Castell

I want to say, bravo Jordan! You did.
